- The Pakie Ryan Memorial run will take place on Saturday March 24th 2012 at 11am in Newmarket-on-Fergus. ITs not just a run but a walk and cycle. Its a great family day out in the village. Registration fee is 20euro and a 1/3 of that will come to the Clare Crusaders Clinic. Over the past 2 years we have recieved just over 20,000 euro. If you would like sponsorship card please call into the Clare Crusaders Clinic in Barefield we will also have registration form. Please try and support this great event.
Also in March fashion show with a difference to take place in the West county Inn on Friday the 30th at 7.30pm. More details to follow later.
We also have a book about the Kilimanjaro climb 2011 available in the clinic and many shops around the town at 8euro. Its a great read.
In the annual Co-operation Ireland All-Island Pride of Place Awards announced at the gala ceremony in Gorey, County Wexford on Saturday (5 November 2011). The Clare Crusaders won a Special Award , the judges said that the organisation provided excellent and comprehensive range of services on a timely basis, which are provided free of charge to hard pressed parents of children with special needs. The judges were just in awe of what is being achieved here on a modest annual budget. To maintain existing services and therapies the group relies solely on fundraising and personal donations. Congratulations to Ann and all at the clinic for this wonderful recognition of all their hard work!
