What services do the Clare Crusaders provide?

Our clinic is based in Barefield, Co Clare with 8 staff and we currently provide a range of services to 190+ kids. We have now worked through our waiting list and all kids are getting at least one treatment weekly. Children’s ages range from 0 to 18 years and we provide the following services:

• Speech & Language Therapy

• Physical Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Special Education Teacher
• Reflexology

In addition to working with the children, we offer support and information to parents to allow them take the necessary steps to secure the best help and services they can get for their children and sometimes themselves.

How do we spend money raised on our behalf?

In total we are providing over 7,500 hours of therapy annually to 190+ kids in the Clare Region at a cost of €250,000 per year.

All of the above services are provided free of charge. The response from parents has been overwhelmingly positive and we are happy to report significant improvement in several kids receiving hands-on therapies. This is an expensive commitment and requires continuing support to ensure its long term success. The Clare Crusaders is committed to the long term viability of this project.
